Meet Laura, my wife (the Love of my life).

My wife Laura and I have had a busy life since we met in 2007.  Laura enjoys putting parties for her friends, with beautiful decorations to make them feel special. She is also the best Green Party buddy I ever could have imagine. She has a tender heart, and she hates when social injustices. are done to other people.

We sailed aboard the tall ship that pulled into Pasco, Washington, for a little over an hour: Hence the picture of her holding the ships “lines” or ropes. Made it back safely to port, I am happy to say.

About Frank Ellsworth Lockwood

Hello, my name is Frank Ellsworth Lockwood and I am the author of the novel, “Captains All,” formerly “The Final Cruise.” I now live in Kennewick, Washington with my wife Laura and our cat, Iggy. We share six adult children between us. Hobbies: I enjoy playing the guitar, writing, reading and blogging, and gardening. Work History: For about 15 years I taught school, including Migrant Education and English as a Second language in public schools. I also worked as a staff reporter at the weekly newspaper “The Hermiston Herald” for several years. Writing awards: I was honored with eight awards through the Oregon National Newspaper Association. Life Experiences: Include serving aboard ship (USS Los Angeles CA-135 and USS Frontier AD-25) in the US Navy, setting chokers as a logger, delivering milk house to house, repairing photocopiers, and many others. Book: “Captains All (The Final Cruise),” my first full-length novel has been available at Amazon, Kindle, Create Space, and other outlets worldwide. Please try https://www.amazon.com/Captains-All-Frank-Ellsworth-Lockwood/dp/1481988522. Green Party In November 2016, I became involved with organizing a new political party for our region. Green Party of the Mid-Columbia is recognized by Washington Greens and is responsible for evangelizing in five Washington counties: Benton, Franklin, Walla-Walla, Yakima, and Klickitat. Update as of April 25, 2021: With the events of Covid-19 beginning in 2020, my life changed considerably. I had retired and ceased working on novels (although I may start on another one in the future). Most of my time has been consumed with landscaping our half-acre on Rachel Road in Kennewick, Washington. Green Party activities have been mostly on hold and most of that has been turned over to younger folk. My wife Laura and I have been dealing with some aches and pains of older age, but still fairly active. To backtrack a bit, in 2003 my guitar buddy Richard Broker died. Jeannie Lockwood, my wife of 38 years, passed away in 2004. I married Laura in 2008. Please comment below: Your feedback is important to me. Thanks
